Ingredients
Calendula
Marigold or Calendula officinalis has always been used to care for damaged skin. Marigold has a very wide spectrum of action: relieves swelling, and is an immunostimulant and astringent. In addition, it is gentle enough to be suitable for use on even the most delicate and sensitive skin. The active compounds in calendula are flavonoids, essential oil, triterpenes, carotenoids, vitamins, and saponins.
Lavender essential oil
Lavender essential oil is an active aromatherapy ingredient. Lavender essential oil Lavandula angustifolia, which we make ourselves from purified lavender flowers by steam distillation, is one of the most commonly used oils in aromatherapy. Many studies have confirmed that the oil consists of over 160 elements that act synergistically on various receptors in our body. The known effects of lavender oil are mainly to speed up relaxation, reduce feelings of anxiety, and relieve depression, insomnia, allergies, eczema, menstrual cramps, and nausea. It is one of the safest essential oils, so it is also suitable for people with the most sensitive skin.
Coconut oil
Saponified coconut oil has effective antimicrobial properties and it is also an antioxidant, that nurtures the skin and calms it at the same time. It contains a lot of lauric acid and its derivative monolaurin. Monolaurin can also be found in breast milk and it protects the baby from infections. That's why the monolaurin together with lauric acid is effective against bacteria. Refined coconut oil contains less of these active ingredients that's why it effectively discourages microbe growth.
Beeswax
Beeswax is produced by worker bees who have to consume more than 8 kg of honey in order to make 1 kg of wax. Therefore, the wax contains a lot of nourishing ingredients. Research has shown that we get over 300 elements in beeswax. It is an indispensable ingredient in the handcraft of natural cosmetics. It gives the skin elasticity and protects it from dehydrating. At the same time, it gives the product the proper structure and consistency.
Shea Butter
Raw shea butter is also one of the indispensable ingredients in natural cosmetics. It is enriched with vitamins, antioxidants, and polyphenols that protect the skin. It does not leave a greasy feeling when applied. Shea butter is also the only fat that contains the compound allantoin. Allantoin protects the top layer of the skin.
Vitamin E
Natural Vitamin E (Tocopherol) is an antioxidant and as such prevents oils and butters from becoming rancid. In addition, it protects the skin from free radicals. The product contains vitamin E of completely natural origin, derived from plants (not GMOs), and not synthetically made Tocopherol acetate.
Cocoa butter
Cocoa butter is rich in vitamins, helps care for dry and cracked skin and is an important ingredient in the balm due to its hardness, as it provides a good consistency.
Extra virgin olive oil
Cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil is an indispensable ingredient in all our cosmetic products, as its composition has a very beneficial effect on our skin. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, softens the skin, moisturizes it, and reduces wrinkles. Especially suitable for sensitive, dry, and mature skin.
Castor oil
Due to its high viscosity and poor absorbency, castor oil is important in lip balm for increasing the durability of the product on the surface of the lips and thus prolonging their protection.

Tips
The product contains natural butters and waxes that can soften at higher temperatures (above 60 ° C), so allow the product to harden again before using it again.
It is also characteristic of butters that they can crystallize due to frequent heating and cooling, which we feel in the balm as tiny grains. The product therefore did not lose on quality, as it is only a matter of physical change.
