Ingridients
Marigold
Marigold or Calendula officinalis has always been used to care for dry rough skin. Calendula has a very wide spectrum of action: it relieves swelling, is an immunostimulant and astringent. In addition, it is gentle enough to be suitable for use on even the most delicate and sensitive skin. The active compounds in marigold are flavonoids, essential oil, triterpenes, carotenoids, vitamins and saponins.
Etheric oils
Essential oils of lavender, lemongrass and bergamothave properties that inhibit the growth of microbes and at the same time give the balm a pleasant smell, leaving the skin gently perfumed.
Coconut oil
Saponified coconut oil is an effective antimicrobial and antioxidant that also nourishes and soothes the skin. It contains a lot of lauric acid and its derivative monolaurin. Monolaurin is also found in breast milk and protects the baby from infections. Therefore, monolaurin, together with lauric acid, is successful in the fight against various bacteria. Refined coconut oil contains less of these active ingredients, so it effectively inhibits the growth of microorganisms.
Beeswax
Beeswax is produced by worker bees, who must consume more than 8 kg of honey to produce 1 kg of wax. That is why there are so many caring ingredients in the wax. Research has shown that beeswax contains over 300 ingredients. It is an indispensable ingredient in the production of natural cosmetics. Gives the skin elasticity, protects it from drying out. Beeswax has components that inhibit the growth of microorganisms. At the same time, it gives the product the right structure and consistency.
Shea Butter
Raw shea butter is also one of the indispensable ingredients in natural cosmetics. It is rich in vitamins, antioxidants and polyphenols that protect the skin. It does not leave a greasy feeling when applied. Shea butter is also the only fat that contains the compound allantoin. Allantoin protects the top layer of the skin.
Vitamin E
Natural vitamin E (Tocopherol) is an antioxidant and as such prevents oils and butters from becoming rancid. In addition, it protects the skin from free radicals. The product contains vitamin E of completely natural origin, obtained from plants (not from GMOs), and not synthetically made Tocopherol acetate.
Cocoa butter
Cocoa butter is rich in vitamins, helps in the care of dry and chapped skin and is an important ingredient in the balm due to its hardness, as it provides a good consistency.
Extra virgin olive oil
Cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil is an indispensable ingredient in all our cosmetic products, as it has a very beneficial effect on our skin due to its composition. It softens the skin, moisturizes it, protects it and helps prevent the formation of wrinkles. Especially suitable for sensitive, dry and mature skin.
Castor oil
Due to its high viscosity and poor absorbency, castor oil in lip balm is important in increasing the durability of the product on the surface of the lips and thereby extending their protection.

Tips
The product contains natural butters and waxes that can soften at higher temperatures (above 60°C), so allow the product to harden again before using again.
It is also characteristic of butters that due to frequent heating and cooling, they can crystallize, which we feel in the balm as tiny grains. The product therefore has not lost its quality, as it is only a physical change.
