Calendula and lavender ointment excellently moisturizes the skin, softens it, and protects it from drying out. The product is rated as safe for use even for children, which is why it has the Baby Safe label. It is also suitable for the care of babies' skin. 

  

It is also suitable for caring for dry areas of the skin (hands, feet, elbows, lips). 

    

The ointment does not contain water or other fillers, so it is enough to apply a small amount to the skin.

The selected blend of natural oils and butters helps to improve the skin's defense mechanism in a short time. At the same time, it also stimulates skin function.

Ingredients

Olive oil

Cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil is an indispensable ingredient in all our cosmetic products, as its composition has a very beneficial effect on our skin. It softens, moisturizes, protects the skin, and helps slow down the formation of wrinkles. Especially suitable for sensitive, dry, and mature skin.

Calendula

Calendula or Calendula officinalis has been used for the care of dry, rough skin since time immemorial. Calendula has a very wide range of effects: it soothes swelling, is an immunostimulant, and an astringent. Additionally, it is gentle enough to be suitable for use on the most delicate and sensitive skin. The active compounds in calendula are flavonoids, essential oil, triterpenes, carotenoids, vitamins, and saponins.

 

Coconut oil

Saponified coconut oil is an effective antimicrobial and antioxidant that nourishes and soothes the skin. It contains a lot of lauric acid and its derivative monolaurin. Monolaurin is also found in breast milk and protects the baby from infections. Therefore, monolaurin, along with lauric acid, is effective against various bacteria. Refined coconut oil contains less of these active ingredients, thus effectively inhibiting the growth of microorganisms.

 

Beeswax

Beeswax is produced by worker bees, which must consume more than 8 kg of honey to produce 1 kg of wax. Therefore, the wax contains a wealth of nourishing ingredients. Research has shown that beeswax contains over 300 components. It is an essential ingredient in the production of natural cosmetics. It gives the skin elasticity and protects it from drying out. Beeswax has components that inhibit the growth of microorganisms. At the same time, it gives the product the right structure and consistency.

 

Shea butter

Raw shea butter is also one of the indispensable ingredients in natural cosmetics. It is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and polyphenols that protect the skin. It does not leave a greasy feeling upon application. Shea butter is also the only fat that contains the compound allantoin. Allantoin protects the outer layer of the skin.

  

Lavender essential oil

Lavender essential oil is an active aromatherapeutic ingredient. The essential oil of true lavender Lavandula angustifolia, which we obtain ourselves from cleaned lavender flowers through steam distillation, is one of the most commonly used oils in aromatherapy. Numerous studies have confirmed that the oil consists of over 160 components that synergistically act on various receptors in our body. The well-known effects of lavender oil are primarily that it promotes relaxation, reduces feelings of anxiety, alleviates depression, insomnia, allergies, eczema, menstrual cramps, and nausea. It is among the safest essential oils, making it suitable for individuals with the most sensitive skin.

 

Vitamin E

Natural vitamin E (Tocopherol) is an antioxidant and thus prevents oils and butters from becoming rancid. Additionally, it protects the skin from free radicals. The product contains vitamin E that is completely natural, derived from plants (not from GMOs), and not synthetically made Tocopherol acetate.

Usage

• Although all products are natural, individuals with particularly sensitive skin (e.g., to essential oils) should first test the products on an unexposed area of skin.

• Store at room temperature.

• At higher temperatures, it can become more liquid due to the presence of coconut oil, which is in a liquid state at temperatures above 25 °C.

• The ointment is suitable only for external use.
