The natural balm for lip care and protection is scented with the natural aroma of blooming flowers. All ingredients are minimally processed, making them much more nourishing and providing long-lasting protection for the lips.

Carefully selected butters, oils, and waxes moisturize, protect, and scent the lips with a delightful floral fragrance. Also suitable for the most sensitive and dry skin.

We have now packaged the product in sustainable packaging with a sliding bottom, which contains twice the amount of product compared to the previous packaging.

The waxes in the balm ensure the consistency of the product and additionally protect the lips from drying out.

Ingredients

  

Coconut oil

Extra virgin coconut oil is an effective antimicrobial, antibacterial, antifungal, and antioxidant that nourishes and soothes the skin. It contains a lot of lauric acid and its derivative monolaurin. Monolaurin is also found in breast milk and protects the baby from infections. Therefore, monolaurin, along with lauric acid, is effective in fighting various bacteria. Refined coconut oil contains less of these active ingredients, thus effectively inhibiting the growth of microorganisms.

   

Beeswax

Beeswax is produced by worker bees, which must consume more than 8 kg of honey to produce 1 kg of wax. Therefore, the wax contains a huge amount of beneficial ingredients. Studies have shown that we obtain over 300 components in beeswax. It is an indispensable ingredient in the production of natural cosmetics. It gives the skin elasticity and protects it from drying out. Beeswax has components that prevent the growth of microorganisms. At the same time, it gives the product the right structure and consistency.

 

Shea butter

Raw shea butter is also one of the essential ingredients in natural cosmetics. It is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and polyphenols, which have an antimicrobial effect. In the balm, shea butter is an important ingredient also because it does not leave a greasy feeling upon application. Shea butter is also the only fat that contains the miraculous compound allantoin. Allantoin protects the outer layer of the skin.

Hydrosol of Damask rose

We use it for the care of sensitive, dry, and mature skin. It acts as a tonic, reduces redness, and alleviates issues with broken capillaries.

 

Vitamin E

Natural vitamin E (Tocopherol) is an antioxidant and thus prevents oils and butters from becoming rancid. Additionally, it protects the skin from free radicals. The product contains vitamin E that is completely natural, derived from plants (not from GMOs), and not synthetically made Tocopherol acetate.

Usage

• For external use only.

• The product contains shea butter, which is pressed from nuts, so individuals with nut allergies should first test the product on a less exposed area of skin.

• To apply, gently push the bottom of the balm towards the top.

Sustainability 

• The packaging is 100% biodegradable. The cardboard tube with a push-up bottom is coated with waxed paper.

• All ingredients are biodegradable and do not accumulate in the environment or aquatic organisms.

• The double volume of the packaging contributes to an even smaller amount of packaging used.

• The ingredients are sourced in a sustainable and socially responsible manner.

Tips

The product contains natural butters and waxes that can soften at higher temperatures (above 60 °C), so the product should be allowed to solidify again before reuse.

It is also characteristic of butters that they can crystallize due to frequent heating and cooling, which we feel as tiny grains in the balm. Therefore, the product has not lost quality, as it is only a physical change.
