A recipe for coffee peeling and coffee wraps for a successful fight against cellulite

Caffeine is a very common ingredient in anti-cellulite creams because it has a diuretic and stimulating effect. Stimulates production collagen and tightens the skin, making it an effective and easy exfoliator to increase circulation and reduce water retention. The effect is even greater if we make poultices after peeling.

Anja and I have also prepared a video where you can watch the process of making coffee scrub for wraps against cellulite:

Recipe for coffee scrub against cellulite:

  • take 2 tablespoons of ground coffee (also coffee grounds)
  • add enough olive oil to hold the coffee beans together.

Coffee scrub is applied in the shower to the affected areas in the direction of the heart at least 2 times a week. Rub until you feel the heat. After the exfoliation, the area is washed. Redness usually appears but disappears.

Coffee scrub for wraps against cellulite:

Coffee scrub against cellulite it is even more effective if, after peeling, the peeling is left on the affected area for another 10 minutes by attaching it to the skin with PVC film. We need:

  • 2 spoons (large) of coffee - (as for exfoliation)
  • cold pressed olive oil to hold the ingredients together
  • 1 small spoon of cayenne pepper (may cause hypersensitivity)
  • 1 small spoonful of turmeric (colors the skin!)
  • 1 small spoon of ginger
  • 20 drops of essential oil (juniper berries, sweet fennel, rosemary, grapefruit, lemongrass, geranium).

Mix all the ingredients well and apply them to the affected areas with light rubbing to feel the heat, then tie them with PVC foil, leave for at least 10 minutes and finally wash off.

Ground coffee beans for wraps are even better if taken fresh because they contain more caffeine. Olive oil we choose the highest quality because it contains polyphenols and squalene, which stimulate collagen synthesis and are antioxidants, which means they reduce inflammation. Turmeric contains curcumin, which is an important ingredient in anti-cellulite products due to its lipolytic (acts directly on fat cells), anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity. However, it does leave the skin stained, so it's best to leave it out if you're doing wraps in an area that won't be covered by a dress. Ginger, cayenne pepper and essential oils they speed up circulation and elimination of toxins from the body. All of the listed essential oils are suitable for poultices against cellulite, it is best to decide on a mixture of at least three, which we prepare separately and use for the preparation of massage oil against cellulite.
